More About Madeline.

At my core, I am a creative—I strive to design products that genuinely improve people’s lives and strengthen communities, rather than adding noise to already crowded tech ecosystems. I believe innovation emerges from outliers and diversity, not the status quo, and that boldness should always be embraced.

I grew up in Silicon Valley during the early-2000s tech boom, which sparked my enduring interest in entrepreneurial technology and its impact. I later moved to the Philadelphia area to attend Haverford College, where I graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Science, a minor in Anthropology, and a concentration in Peace, Justice, and Human Rights. I was also honored with the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights Award for Engaged Scholarship for my work in the technology justice space.

Currently, I work as a Product Manager at Savi, a Better Business Bureau–accredited startup dedicated to helping student loan borrowers lower their monthly payments, find forgiveness faster, and navigate the complex federal student loan landscape. Before Savi, I spent two years as a Product Manager and UX Designer at Afero, a high-growth IoT startup, where I helped launch products that reached millions of consumers.

What I bring.

Operating within dynamic entrepreneurial environments has sharpened my capacity to think quickly and make informed decisions on the fly. Pivoting and iterating under pressure is one of my specialities.

Adaptability

My work emphasizes direct collaboration with end-users to ensure that a product or service aligns closely with their needs. I firmly believe in designing products in partnership with the communities they serve.

Co-Design Practices

I thrive on transforming the unknown into actionable insights. Some of my most fulfilling projects have stemmed from embracing ambiguity, conducting thorough research, and translating it into impactful product solutions.
